In the afternoon of March 2, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in South Korea fell to a low segment of the 2%-4% target range of the South Korean Central Bank (Korea) in February compared with a year earlier.  Figures released in Tuesday by South Korea's statistics department showed CPI rose 2.7% in February from a year earlier, up from 3.1% in the previous month.  The February CPI increase was in line with the expectations of 10 economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires (Dow Jones Newswires). South Korea's February CPI rose 0.4% per cent from last month, with an increase that was flat in January, in line with economists ' expectations.
