Spack is a stand-alone package manager with its own package format based on Cpio, with the goal of maintaining the overall compatibility of Slackware Linux.
Spack is written using a POSIX shell, which attempts to provide a fairly complete toolkit for building, installing, deleting, viewing, retrieving, and arranging your packages. It can be used as an alternative to Slackware Pkgtools, independently and properly managed on any distribution of your local software. It provides you with a relaxed, clean, secure, flexible way to make your package less time-consuming to write code, so you choose exactly the code you want.
Spack 3.7 This version spackadd uses the Ldconfig command's root installation package and also improves Spackcook and fixes several daily portability errors in this command.
