Specific steps for migrating to 2.3 on the cloud Platform Scentry 2.2 environment

This paper describes the specific steps and considerations for migrating reuse 2.2 existing configuration and data on the basis of the Scentry 2.3 environment.

Scentry 2.3 supports the migration and reuse of older versions of configuration files and database systems in two ways. One is automatic migration by the Scentry 2.3 installer, and the other is migrating with the OSGi command after installation is complete and Scentry 2.3 is started. Migration with the former has some limitations and can only be achieved from Derby to Derby, which can support the migration of Derby to Derby,derby to DB2 or DB2 to DB2. You can choose the appropriate migration method according to the actual needs and habits.

Automatic migration through Setup

Scentry 2.3 starts to support automatic migration of the installation process Derby to Derby on Windows, Linux, AIX three platforms. The following example describes the specific migration process with Windows platform migration Scentry 2.2 through 2.3.

First step: Stop scentry 2.2 server.

Step two: On the Windows operating system, perform Sce230_windows_installer.exe, and the following interface pops up:

Click OK in the Pop-up interface.

Click Next in the next pop-up interface to accept the default option until the Install button appears, as shown in Figure 2:

Click Install, start the installation, after the installation will pop up the following interface, ask now whether to migrate data, as shown in Figure 3:

In the interface shown in Figure 3, select I want to migrate the "Data Now" and click Next.
