Sprout Social, a company that provides social media management tools for small businesses, has recently won 10 million of billions of dollars in a round of investments led by New Enterprise Associates. These funds will be used primarily for product development.
Companies can use Sprout Social to manage, observe and track their companies ' performance on social networking sites such as Twitter,facebook,foursquare,linkedin and Yelp.
Sprout Social offers a low-cost monthly service charge plan for small businesses, which targets the midrange market. The services they offer are strong enough for small business firms, and their models are a bit like hootsuite, but not as expensive as Vitrue or Buddy Media.
