St East Airlines 9.9 billion yuan to buy 20 Airbus

St Eastern (600115) announcement, June 15 (France local time) company and Airbus in Paris signed an agreement to purchase 20 Airbus A320 series aircraft, the total amount of about 9.917 billion yuan (about 1.452 billion U.S. dollars).　　The 20 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered from 2011 to completion by 2013. The company said that the purchase of the 20 Airbus A320 series aircraft, will be mainly used to meet the domestic air passenger transport market growth in the next few years, enhance the company's competitiveness in the short and medium-range passenger transport market, conducive to the optimization of the company's domestic route network. Referring to the previous operating data of the 320 series, the increase in the company's capacity (ATK) through the exchange accounted for 5.44% of the total audited capacity of Eastern Airlines for 2008. The deal is financed mainly by commercial bank loans.
