Local network (compilation/applies) According to overseas media news, the development of the "Star Wars" series of LucasArts and the development of the "Guitar Hero" series of Budcat Creations Two studios do not seem to calm through the winter. According to sources close to LucasArts, the studio had yesterday carried out the latest round of layoffs, the details are unclear.  Earlier, LucasArts a round of layoffs in early September, as many as one-third of the staff were cut off, including senior producer Haden Blackman, who had been in the studio for 13 years, resigned.  A spokesman for the LucasArts confirmed that the layoffs were true, but declined to disclose specifics, only claiming that the studios were fine-tuning staffing to better meet business needs.  The 2008 passive view of the acquisition, was responsible for the development of the PS2 and the Wii version of Guitar Hero Budcat Creations was confirmed that the studio has been passively closed. "We will continue to streamline our music development team to ensure consistency with the company's overall strategy," the statement said. We are downsizing the California studios and closing the Budcat Creations Studios in Iowa. "There are about 88 employees in the Budcat Creations Studios, some of them will be integrated into other studios and some will be cut back." (Edit/Ming)
