Powermat Charger Starbucks plans to install a wireless charging station in a café last year, and now plans to start a pilot in a San Francisco store. It and the Golden Overlord Battery company launched a Powermat charger. The charger will be placed on the designated table and counter, which consumers can use to recharge the device. At present, however, the Powermat charger can only charge a small number of devices such as iphone and Samsung Galaxy series.
