Start using Oracle on Windows Azure

Today, customers can deploy preconfigured virtual machine images that run Oracle databases, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Java Platform SE combinations on Windows server, and these images have built-in licenses for Oracle software. During the preview period, there is no extra charge for using these images in addition to regular costing. After the preview period ends, the Oracle image is billed based on the total number of minutes that the VM is running within one months. These images can be deployed at any time, enabling you to quickly configure an economically efficient cloud environment for development and testing, and to easily scale enterprise Oracle applications. With Oracle Mobile licenses, customers with existing Oracle software licenses can deploy them on Windows Azure and leverage powerful management capabilities, Cross-platform tools, and automation capabilities.

In addition, Oracle now has Windows Azure mirroring library Oracle Linux, Oracle Linux with Oracle Database and Oracle Linux with WebLogic for customers with licenses for these products Server.
