Recently, the Market Research Institute StatCounter released a global mobile data traffic report. The report shows that in June this year, Samsung Smart device global mobile data traffic overtook the Apple iphone and ipod Touch device for the first time, indicating the global use of smartphone Internet users, Samsung users exceed the apple. StatCounter's data is based on its tracking monitoring of more than 3 million websites. The report includes pocket-size portable devices that do not include tablets. The report shows that in January this year, Apple mobile devices, including the iphone and ipod Touch, and so on, the network traffic beyond the Nokia mobile phones, as the world's largest mobile data flow equipment, by June this year, Samsung Smart devices mobile data traffic than Apple devices. In June this year, Samsung smartphone mobile network traffic accounted for 25.5% of total traffic, Apple equipment accounted for 25.1%, ranked second, Nokia equipment accounted for 22%, ranked third, and BlackBerry equipment accounted for 3.6%, fourth. In the US market, Apple devices have a far more mobile network than other companies. Data show that June this year, Apple equipment mobile data traffic share of 54.8%, the same period last year, the data was 50.4%, and Samsung in the U.S. region, the share of traffic is only 18.3%, the same period last year, the data is 12.7%. StatCounter says 83.9% of the world's network traffic now comes from non mobile devices. The report shows that in a non mobile operating system, Windows 7 system network traffic is the largest, its share of 52.6%,windows XP ranked second, its share of 21.1%;windows 8 network traffic share for the 5.9%,:vista share of 5.4%. Apple OS X systems account for 7.4%, while the ipad's iOS system accounts for 4.2%. As for mobile browsers, mobile data traffic through the Android browser accounts for 29.1% of global data traffic, and Apple Safari accounts for 25%, while Chrome's 4.0 or higher platforms only support a 3.2% per cent share of data traffic.
