Survey: Support cloud services users are satisfied with cloud backup

Now it looks like backup is still the killer app for cloud computing. Nearly 25% of respondents said their company is using cloud Backup-a fairly high percentage, although users remain uneasy about sending data outside, and cloud backups, which are almost synonymous with cloud storage, are still relatively unfamiliar.

The current cloud storage users seem to be very satisfied, 65% are satisfied with the services they use or are basically satisfied, and 49% expect to continue to expand their use. They have strongly supported cloud services, sending an average of 42% of backup data to the cloud and keeping an average of 12.6TB of data on Ethernet.

Cloud Backup is often the perfect solution for mobile users and remote office data backup, but heavyweight users (58%) are still backing up in the data center. In most cases, the user still relies on the software provided by the service to access the data (58%), but the d2d2cloud approach is becoming increasingly popular, with 47% of users first using their own applications or disk arrays to store backup data before sending them to the cloud.

The primary reason for not using cloud backup is that it worries about sending corporate data to the public cloud. You might think you're right to run millions of cloud services on the market, but most people know Amazon (10%), Symantec (7%) and EMC (6%), IBM, Google, Ironmountain and Microsoft together accounted for 5%.
