Swiss telecom company joins Red Hat cloud ecosystem

Red Hat announced recently, Switzerland's top ranking telecoms provider Switzerland http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/17385.html "> Swiss Telecom IT services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the telecoms company, joined the Red Hat Cloud ecosystem as a certified Cloud provider partner to provide more choice and flexibility for open cloud configurations.

In order to meet the company's market in Switzerland for enterprise-class users of the public cloud infrastructure as a service product, the Swiss telecom company has further expanded its technical cooperation with Red Hat Company. Swiss Telecom is a long-term partner of Red Hat technology (including the virtualized Red Hat Enterprise Linux, JBoss Enterprise middleware and Red Hat Network Satellite System management products). Today, the Swiss telecoms IT services company continues to deepen its cloud collaboration in providing Red Hat Enterprise Linux on its infrastructure, the service cloud.

Eduard Modalek, head of product management at Swiss Telecom IT services, said, "We are very pleased with the partnership today with the Red Hat extension to cloud computing."
