Synctool is a cluster management tool that keeps profiles of all nodes in the cluster synchronized. Nodes may be part of a logical group or class, where they need a specific subset of the configuration file. Synctool can restart the daemon as needed, provided it is available for patch management or other system administration tasks if the relevant profile has been changed.

Synctool 5.1 This version fixes some errors in previous versions. The incorrect resolution of the comma-delimited list of nodes and groups on the command line has been fixed. Each time the output is printed to stderr, the node name will not be printed in front of the information. Dsh-ping now supports fping and Solaris Ping.
