Terry launches industry's first real-time monitoring program to fully monitor 3 Gbps video content

The market leading manufacturer of broadcast video testing, monitoring and analysis solutions---the company announced recently that its new 10GB interface for upgraded sentry® and Sentry Verify Solutions has made them the first real-time video quality Monitor to fully monitor 3 Gbps of video broadcasts. Prior to adding 10GB interfaces to Sentry and Sentry verify, existing products for 10GB networks provide a very basic monitoring function, such as loss of notification packets, which in itself is not a reliable indicator of quality problems. In addition to continuous monitoring of 3 Gbps content with 10GB Ethernet interfaces and industry-leading capabilities, Sentry also includes advanced user Experience quality (QoE) monitoring capabilities supplemented by Sentry verify quality of service (QoS) monitoring.
