Tesla opens corridor of super fast charging station on West coast of USA

NetEase Science and technology news October 31, according to foreign media reports, Tesla announced in Wednesday, has opened a super charging station corridor on the west coast of the United States (supercharger corridor) to help Model S car owners to achieve from the United States Santiago to Vancouver, Canada, the possibility of long-distance driving. These super charging stations are installed along the United States Highway 101th and Interstate 5th, the major cities and attractions around the installation. Model s owners can access to San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento and Vancouver, with a minimum of docking to achieve rapid and free charge. Now more than 99% of California's owners and 87% of Oregon State and Washington state owners are only less than 200 miles from these super charging stations. Tesla's super charging station has more advanced performance than the rest of the world's charging technology, enabling it to charge 20 times times faster than a regular charging station. The Tesla Super charging station offers a 120kW DC charge, the fastest in 20 minutes full of Model S half of the battery volume. (Lu Xin)
