The Bing Search API on Windows Azure marketplaces is available!

The Bing Search API on Windows Azure Marketplace is now available! With this service, you can embed Web, image, news, and video search results, as well as related search and spelling suggestions to create unique applications and services.

You can also integrate information from a dataset into your application through standardized data services, and analyze online data by using the Service Explorer tool, Microsoft Excel PowerPivot, and more and more other tools.

Over the past few years, the Bing Search API has supported a growing number of unique applications and services. Now, by combining the APIs with the features of Windows Azure Marketplace, developers and ISVs have a powerful set of tools for creating and distributing applications. In addition, you can access hundreds of other datasets and APIs on Windows Azure Marketplace, including Microsoft translators launched last September on marketplace.

Starting today, you can access the two Bing Search API products on marketplace:

Use the Bing Search API to search the marketplace 5,000 times a month for free. Paid subscriptions can provide users with more than 5,000 queries a month. Learn more about pricing and subscriptions on the Marketplace details page.

As an introduction, we provide a free time-limited experience for each Bing Search API subscription layer. View details of this service on the Bing search API page and the Bing search api–web Results only page. We encourage you to take full advantage of the experience to test the API and determine the most appropriate query volume for your application or service.

Users with high search volumes need more queries per month than marketplace, and need to submit a request online via a separate process.
