"We are partnering with Dealmap to launch Bing Deals, which does not create our own program," said Andy Chu, head of Bing's team, in an official blog. Andy Chu Dealmap is the main source for people to find and share the best local deals, so it makes sense to work with them to bring the best experience to the user. ”
On the Bing search site, users need to tap into local search results to find this information. For example, a user who searches for "San Francisco sushi" can display a list of nearby sushi shops, where users can click to see more information. Eventually, Microsoft said, the company would integrate the Dealmap deal into the home page of the search results.
The Dealmap aggregates daily trading information from more than 300 sources, including Groupon and LivingSocial, with more than 400,000 transactions per day on its website. The DEALMAP has grown very quickly and has attracted more than 1.6 million users in 9 months.
Currently, Bing deals only supports the iphone and Android, and Microsoft has not disclosed when Bing deals will land on other mobile platforms, and whether the iphone version of the Bing app contains links to group buying deals.
