Beijing time, September 25 Evening News, Reuters in Thursday, citing people familiar with the news that the EU will unconditionally approve Facebook (77.22,-1.31,-1.67%) 19 billion dollar acquisition of WhatsApp transactions.

"The EU will unconditionally approve the deal," the person said. Analysts say the deal will allow Facebook to quickly enter the fast-growing mobile messaging application market.

Facebook announced in February this year that it would spend $19 billion in cash-plus shares to buy instant messaging apps, including $4 billion in cash and $12 billion worth of Facebook WhatsApp.

In addition, Facebook will provide the founder and staff of WhatsApp with about $3 billion worth of restricted shares, divided into four years.

WhatsApp was founded in 2009, the current number of users have more than 450 million people, of which the proportion of active users of 70%, the daily new registered users more than 1 million people.
