The fire in the Wuxi factory is investigating casualties

Beijing Time September 4 News, the world's 2nd largest computer memory chip maker--sk (SK Hynix Inc.) in Wuxi, China, a factory fire, has been closed down the operation of the plant.

In a telephone interview, a spokesman said the company was identifying casualties and investigating the cause of the plant's fire. Hynix said in a statement today that the time of the fire was 3:50 P.M. in Beijing when the plant was being scheduled and the fire was extinguished at 5:20.

The company is located in Wuxi, the factory, mainly the production of mobile phone and PC dynamic random access memory (DRAM).

The company, which provides storage chips for global smartphone makers such as Apple, said in July that the second half of the year was limited growth in memory chip supplies, while low-end smartphones would push up demand for DRAM chips.

In Wednesday, the shares rose 0.7% per cent to 28650 won. Since the start of the year, the stock has risen 11%, while the Kospi benchmark index has fallen 3.2% per cent.
