The first national standard of mobile power is officially introduced, including more than 30 indicators

January 15 News, according to the official website of China National Standardization Management Committee, the first domestic mobile power state mandatory standards have been formally issued, and will be implemented on August 1, 2015. The standard number is GB 31241-2014, the full name is "portable electronic products lithium ion batteries and battery safety requirements", including more than 30 data indicators.

According to the test index, in addition to the General Safety requirements (Safety working parameters, marking requirements, warning instructions, durability), the test items of the battery pack have more than 30 tests such as battery environment test, battery electric safety test, safety test requirement of battery pack protection circuit and safety requirement of system protection circuit. This standard has no dead angle coverage for the test of mobile power supply.

The standard by the Ministry of Industry, the Chinese Institute of Electronic Technology Standardization, Shenzhen, the Battery Co., Ltd., Tianjin Li-Shen Battery Co., Ltd., Dongguan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd, Sunwoda Electronics Co., Ltd., Scud (Fujian) Electronics Co., Ltd., Beijing Star Microelectronics Co., Ltd., Beijing Sai Sai Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. and other relevant units and enterprises involved in the drafting of the standard.

At present, China Quality Certification Center (CQC) New Energy Department has begun to accept gb31241-2014 standard certification. (Mingyu)
