The Setup method of Apple pay service and some function exposure

According to a memo revealed by MacRumors, the American chain of pharmacy Walgreens will start Apple Pay payment service by 18th this month, and will not exclude other businesses from enabling Apple Pay at the same time. Subsequently, 9to5mac further exposed a series of setup methods related to Apple Pay, transaction details and related functions.

As the above illustration shows, the Apple pay settings are completed in the Passbook application settings. The user can set the iOS 8 system when it is initially installed, or you can then go to the Setup page and set it up in the Passbook & Apple Pay subproject.

There are two ways to add credit cards in Passbook: Enter information via the itunes account or scan the credit card via the iphone's webcam. Up to 8 credit/debit cards can be accommodated from Passbook.

Interestingly, Passbook and Apple Pay services can be more deeply integrated with credit card company/bank services. For associated credit card companies/Banks, Apple Pay users can get a detailed list of recent credit card transactions, can easily download the company's official app in the App Store, easily contact the company/bank, and choose whether to receive tweets from them. There is also a cool thing, if the user's credit card expires, Passbook will automatically contact the relevant bank, the validity of the credit card update. This eliminates the process of deleting an old card and adding a new card. Of course, after Apple has done this for them, they will receive a push notification.

As a pioneer of Apple's Pay service, the Apple Store upgraded its ibeacon device in September to meet Apple Pay users, and the upgraded Ibeacon device can support NFC standards, known as Easy Pay. In this way, ibeacon can identify the location of the users in the Apple store and make sure that the deal is actually happening to the person. If users end up paying by Apple Pay at the store, what if they need to return them? In fact, it is also very simple, as with the purchase, users use their own iphone 6 (plus) on easy pay, the return of the transaction information can be processed.

Another change is that users do not need to provide their own name and email address (usually by submitting an Apple ID) when they checkout, unless they are buying an Apple care service. For security reasons, the store's receipts will no longer show the user's contact information and credit card numbers for the products Apple Pay buys, only the last four digits of Apple's Pay ID in the iphone.

What if the user's Apple Pay service hangs up? In the Apple Store, the shop assistant will detect whether a service failure is related to the iphone's hardware by using a software called Apple Pay demo, and if it is not a hardware issue, the clerk advises the user to contact their credit card issuer/bank for information. The Apple Pay Demo is a device that every Apple clerk can operate without having to use the Apple Store's "geniuses."

In fact, recent Apple store employees are receiving training on Apple's pay service, which bodes well for Apple's pay service to start up these days.
