Companies can use Impermium to detect and remove false and spammy content. Impermium can detect previously unknown patterns by analyzing the contents of multiple Web sites. They have developed a machine-based learning system that can monitor the flow of a single Web site while looking at the different types of traffic across the network, and then find junk information. So far, they have tested some 10 websites, contacted more than 50 million independent user samples, analyzed 50 million content and worked well. Impermium announced today that it has been obtained from the accelerated Partnership (Accel Partners), AOL Ventures, Charles River venture Capital (Charles River Ventures), freestyle capitals, Greylock Discovery Fund and Morado Ventures the first round of $1 million worth of investment. Angel groups Archimedes Capital and Embarcadero Ventures are also on the list of investors. (New Tie)
