This Seoul, February 28 (Xinhua) The Finance minister and the deputy central bank governor of the Group of 20 (G20) held a meeting from February 27 to 28th at Incheon Pine Island, South Korea, to assess the world economic situation after the financial crisis and to discuss issues and timetables for the two financial summits of the year. The meeting was held behind closed doors, the first meeting of the Group of 20 since this year, and no press release was issued. According to South Korean media reports, the Conference's main issues include the promotion of a strong and sustainable global economic growth, accelerate the reform of international financial institutions, and strengthen the regulation of international financial institutions. The meeting also focused on issues such as the construction of the world financial safety net, world economic trends, energy subsidies and ensuring climate change funds.
