In the morning of December 31, according to foreign media reports, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Beijing time in early Thursday said that in the third quarter of this year, the dollar in the global monetary reserves fell to a 10-year low, while the proportion of the euro rose to a record high.  As of September 30, the dollar's share of the global currency reserves fell to 61.6%, the second quarter was 62.8%, the third quarter was 64.5%, while the euro rose from 27.4% to 27.7%, the IMF said. In addition, the proportion of sterling reserves to total allocated reserves rose from 4.3% in the second quarter to 4.34%, while the proportion of yen reserves to total allocated reserves increased from 3.12% to 3.23% in the second quarter.
