The income growth of middle and low income residents is still big between high and low income groups

The National Bureau of Statistics released today's "Eleven-Five" economic and social Development Achievements series report that "Eleven-Five" period, the government at all levels to accelerate the reform of income distribution system, increase the transfer of low-income residents to pay, and effectively promote the middle and low-income residents of the rapid growth of income. According to the income of the five equal income group of the whole country, the disposable income of the low, low, medium, high and High income group in 2010 was increased by 89.3%, 89.3%, 87.4%, 84% and 79.7% respectively, and the income of Low-and middle-income group grew faster than the high-income group.　　The income gap between different income groups showed a narrowing trend. Nevertheless, the income gap between the high and low income groups is still large, in 2010, the average disposable income of the low-income group and the high-income group was 39.8% and 215.4% (2005 respectively 38.3% and 218.3%), 2010 High Income group and low-income group income ratio is 5.4:1 (2005 is 5.7:1). An excessive income gap is still a key issue to be addressed in the coming period.
