The cover of the September issue of the new think-tank-think tank Management Institute the Popular Global Social Responsibility movement attracts the positive response of most multinational corporations and large enterprises, and many multilateral organizations, non-governmental organizations, industry organizations and the media are among them. However, the development of this kind of movement pays much attention to the enterprise's "soft competition", performance report and recognition, etc., while ignoring the real problem of social responsibility is the long-term problem of social development, such as labor rights, environmental protection, product quality and business ethics etc. These problems are generally concentrated in the developing countries where the supply chain's peripheral industries are clustered. In the chain of economic globalization, one side is mainly small and medium-sized processing plants, subcontractors, agricultural products self-employed, on the one hand is a large, strong financial and brand of multinational enterprise giants. We call on the ability and strength of enterprises to help supply chain peripheral enterprises to improve their labor, environment and other conditions. This is one of the essentials of supply chain responsibility. While supply chain management focuses on long-term value-added by increasing revenue, reducing costs or balancing both, its contribution is not limited to cost. Corporate social responsibility in supply chains/suppliers can not only increase value and revenue by reducing reputational risk, but also help companies to increase revenue or reduce costs. Effective procurement and supply management plays a vital role in the success of the enterprise. Timely and continuous access to qualified, moderate, affordable raw materials, services and equipment is essential for the survival and success of any enterprise. But the supply chain is no longer just a topic of technology, inventory, distribution centers or logistics. Today, "companies are increasingly concerned with the growing social and environmental impact and process standards that provide effective policy guidance for enterprises to monitor, regulate and report on social and environmental activities throughout the supply chain." "This is an essential function of corporate social responsibility and a catalyst for creating and maintaining efficient, transparent and ethical supply chains." The topic of supply chain management and corporate social responsibility is enough to write a few books, but all this boils down to a very simple, but very appropriate, "You are the company you manage." This sentence sums up all the questions. As enterprises begin to monitor the risks of partners in the supply chain and strategically integrate CSR into supply chain management, their practices have gone beyond ensuring supply chain efficiency and become part of sustaining long-term sustainable development and management.
