The National Science and Technology Society's five-point definition of cloud computing

Some people are cautious about the development of the cloud, and some are still wondering what the cloud is. But no matter how you feel, the cloud is still growing and evolving, and it forms a wide variety of different types of clouds. It can be divided into public, private, and mixed clouds, or it can be broken down into different service directions: Software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and other cloud services. Many people may have taken the first step in cloud computing, but if you think you haven't, start with the following definitions. The U.S. National Institute of Science and Technology defined the cloud computing, needs to meet the following characteristics:

1 on-demand self-service: Users can obtain computing, networking, and storage functionality without the intermediary coordinator, and can be implemented through self-service portals and some type of request center.

2 Broadband Network access: Information stores in the cloud infrastructure, such as desktops, notebooks, PDAs, smart phones, current and future devices, should be available from any location and from any broadband array in the network-attached device.

3 Resource pools: computing, network, and storage resources are delivered by a larger pool of resources, and different enterprises or organizations, called many different customers, can take advantage of the same pool of resources. There is also the independence of location, and each customer may not be aware of the location of specific resources at any point in the day.

4 Quick Flexibility: Users can easily and quickly equipment and cancellation of equipment resources. In addition, equipment and cancellation equipment can be automatically completed according to the policy, so that resources can be allocated when they are no longer needed and require the release of resources.

5 Measurable services: Users get the computing, networking, storage resources they need, and only pay for the services they use.

Cloud computing Model

Virtualization plays an important role in cloud computing, without virtualization there is no cloud, at least not safe and cost-effective cloud computing.
