Xinhua Lagos July 12 According to the latest report of Nigeria's "Today," as a result of armed attacks, Shell in Nigeria's Niger Delta oil pipelines in the past two weeks of sustained damage, resulting in a sharp decline in crude oil production.  At present, Shell Oil development in Nigeria (SPDC) crude oil production has dropped to 140,000 barrels, down 85.9% from 2003 999,000 barrels, down 83.5% from 2008 850,000 barrels. Shell currently owns 90 oilfields, 1000 wells, 73 transfer stations and 8 natural gas plants in Nigeria, and has two large oil export terminals in Bonnie and Forcados.
