In Google's search results, the summary information title length is generally 72 bytes (that is, 36 Chinese characters) around, and Baidu only 56 bytes (that is, 28 Chinese characters) around, beyond the scope of the content will be omitted.

In fact, in order to show the user a more complete title, the search engine will adjust according to the actual situation of the page. For example: In the keyword "car" search results, the Chinese car Web title tag content occupies 72 bytes, and NetEase car channel is 58 bytes.

Although the search engine omits that part of the summary information, it does not mean that the search engine ignores its existence, but does not value it. So, when we're writing a page title, we should limit the length of the title content to 28 Chinese characters (56 English characters), or at least let the relative important content appear in the range.

The title content of the page, as long as can express the theme of the page. Too many keywords will only disperse the center of the title, reducing the relevance of the page, especially when multiple meanings are not related to the keyword. For example: Some people will be in the title of "mobile phone, digital products, video cameras, notebooks" and other topics unrelated, or significant difference between the keywords.

Keyword distribution refers to where keywords appear in the title. Many people like to put the company or the name of the site in the front of the title, especially the title of the homepage. It's a very unwise way to stand in search engine optimization, unless your company or website name is the primary keyword.
