The origin of World Architecture Day history

The 2005 World Architecture Day and World Habitat Day are all set on October 3 this day. The theme of World Architecture Day 2005 is "Sharing the City." It is learned that all countries in the world are seeking various forms of celebrations such as celebrations, academic seminars, building fairs, and promotion of popular science knowledge based on their respective actual conditions.

Architecture is the most important component of human culture and the most substantial activity that provides space for humankind. Architects and other builders are shouldering the heavy burden of building and protecting the living environment. Their work is closely related to everyone. Their work deserves public understanding and social support. To this end, the IAA decided at the board meeting held in San Francisco on June 9, 1985, that the first Monday in October be the "World Architecture Day" and the "World Habitat Day." In order to support the United Nations' construction activities and expand its influence around the world, the IAC Congress made a resolution in 1996 to put the annual "World Architecture Festival" in line with the UN's "World Habitat Day" Hold the day.
