According to foreign media reports, the authoritative "Oxford English Dictionary" June Update, added a number of new technology words, including tweets, crowdsource (Chinese meaning "crowdsourcing").
In fact, the word "Tweet" appeared in the Oxford Dictionary as early as 1851, when it meant a bird's bark. This time, the meaning of the word expands, and the new verb meaning includes "posting a post on Twitter, often or habitually using Twitter", and of course the tweet has a noun form, referring to a tweet posted on Twitter.
However, it is not quite normal that in 2011, the word "Retweet" from "Tweet" was first introduced into the Oxford English Dictionary, but the Lexicography party did not explain why.
The new technology added this year also includes "crowdsourcing" (crowdsourcing), "MouseOver" (mouse over ...). , "E-reader" (Digital book Reader) and "re-direct" (url shift).
