The report says China's economy may struggle to maintain double-digit growth for several years

China News agency, Beijing, February 6 (Xinhua) The Chinese economy may struggle to maintain double-digit growth for 2003-2007 years in the next few years, according to a 2010 spring forecast from Xiamen University and the National University of Singapore at the China Macro-Economic Forum held here 6th. The group uses China's quarterly macroeconomic Model (CQMM) to make predictions. Projections show that China's GDP is expected to achieve 9.13% growth in 2010 and signs of economic recovery are evident.　　But as M2 growth declines, 2011 growth will fall to 8.51%. The report argues that in order to achieve a good balance between growth and structural adjustment, China must properly control its growth rate.　　Therefore, it may be more realistic and beneficial to adjust the forecast of economic growth to around 9% in the next few years.　　Xiamen University President Chongshi and economists Luolin, Xu Yifan, Shucheng, Kang, Li, and so on, said that the new two universities use model analysis, has a higher scientific and credibility, can provide a reference frame for macroeconomic decision-making, and with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China and Tsinghua University forecasts are relatively similar.　　Scholars also believe that China's economic growth is slow, and worries about growth, the urgent task is to solve the imbalance of national economy, internal and external demand imbalance, redistribution of national income, and economic growth patterns change. To this end, the group put forward three suggestions: moderate control of economic growth rate, the existing expansionary policies should not be too hasty to withdraw, adjust the structure of national income expenditure needs to start in many ways, long-term efforts.
