In the morning of November 6, in the "Energy and Resources" Forum of the New Year's meeting, Australian ambassador to China, Geoff Raby, said the current shortage of resources in the global market was driven mainly by Chinese demand. Geoff Raby said China's overspeed growth over the past 30 years has made it necessary for China to supply a lot of resources, such as iron ore and coal. China has a lot of production, but it also needs to import some energy from overseas markets. He believes that China is moving towards overseas development and investing in various regions. He feels that China has a strong dependence on the global energy market, which has some strategic implications in addition to the resource requirements. (Yang Zhuo from Beijing)
