The concept of cloud computing is highly respected in many enterprises. After all, who doesn't like a service with a high degree of scalability, dynamic load balancing, and high utilization? These are the hallmarks of modern cloud services.

But as the saying goes, details determine success or failure. Companies that plan to use cloud services will encounter a number of challenges, the first being to use a public cloud or move their internal facilities into the cloud, even with a private cloud. Many experts say the private cloud is not cost-effective, because the company's resources are limited, maintenance and monitoring of these devices will produce a huge cost.

But further scrutiny, we will find that private cloud can bring some unique benefits to the enterprise's data environment.

A major feature of the private cloud is the ability to retain the company's own equipment when it joins the cloud. Business2community.com's Dawn Altnam has said that handing data to third-party operators means abandoning control of the data. While the phenomenon of data theft or service unavailable in public cloud services is now virtually extinct, processing data on your own devices is quite different from what other people are doing with the data for you. Private cloud can be well adapted to the company's unique data requirements, while the general public cloud does not.

The private cloud also alleviates the important problem of a public cloud: internal devices (rogue infrastructure). Wired's Bart Copeland points out that today's technical staff think it's easier and faster to grab new services from the cloud than to get new services from it providers, but the consequence is to put a lot of data outside the enterprise and without supervision. However, if employees access the PAAs (Platform-as-a-service, Platform, service) environment from the private cloud, the process of acquiring services and data will be greatly simplified.

With so many private cloud advantages, how do you build a private cloud platform? Companies that have long exposure to traditional devices may find the process of developing a cloud platform slightly complex. Several elements are necessary to build a private cloud that is both perfect and practical. Nathan Coutinho, a data solution provider CDW, points out that advanced IT management, server virtualization technology, and converged storage and fusion devices are essential elements of a highly efficient private cloud. Once these technologies and tools are in place, organizations can easily deploy, redeploy, and manage cloud environments with high scalability.

It's better to look at the private cloud from a solution perspective-that's what the broker channel is good at. Embotics's Colin Jack says that instead of thinking about "How to build a cloud," CIOs want to plan for their company's 10-year data, and then develop an optimal strategy to complete the plan. Using the cloud would be a good choice if planning included reducing costs, increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise, and developing a vision of the data environment and usage patterns. Once the overall goal is identified, the technical details of the cloud will be more accurately evaluated.

Now more and more users flock to the cloud, enterprises should accept the cloud. So far most of the large data and a large number of media files are still stored in traditional devices, but the space of these devices is not endless. There are only two solutions: Add new equipment, or join the cloud. If you choose the latter, the best way to do that is to get the cloud into your work life or your daily life.
