The number of hardware start-ups is increasing. Of course, hardware is really more difficult to innovate than software, but once a team makes a score, it's certainly more eye-catching than software innovation because the tangible product is always visible, whether it's on the table, on the wall or in the pocket.

Hax's haxlr8r show in San Francisco has been on the fifth day, with a total of 10 teams showing their hardware products, ranging from robotics to tools to help other teams develop hardware. Of all the products they show, we think there are 5 hardware products that have good prospects and are expected to become the "Tomorrow Star" of the hardware market, or in other words, when the 5 products are officially listed, at least they are worth buying.

1, Prynt

Remember the Polaroid camera? This kind of camera can be shot as soon as possible, like magic moment to get the picture. While Polaroid has shifted to other types of cameras in recent years, the idea of developing a device that can instantly print photos still haunts the mind. This year's equipment is Prynt.

Prynt is compatible with Android devices and iphones, using Zink ink-free printing paper. The color is inside the paper, so there is no need to replace the cartridge. Photo Printing takes about 20 seconds. Prynt said 10 of the paper was priced at $3, so the cost of printing a photo was only about 0.30 dollars.

The price of Prynt hardware itself is about $129 trillion, Prynt is expected to be set up in the Kickstarter next January, the official products will be listed in the summer of 2015.

2. Cell Robot

Now it's cool to be just a robot. Robots that are made up of a number of spheres that can be interconnected and can be controlled with the iphone are even cooler. Cell robot is such a robotic product.

When the cell robot is listed, it is basically configured with 5 spheres, including 1 core spheres, which are equipped with a battery and a wireless connection antenna to control the other spheres connected to it.

People can use related mobile applications to control a single sphere or a whole set of devices. The development team also talked about another sphere called the X cell, which is equipped with more useful components such as WiFi cameras and wheels. Cell robot will be set up in December on the Kickstarter site, the estimated 5 spheres of the basic configuration price of about 200 U.S. dollars.

3, Voltera

If you want to develop new products, you may need printed circuit boards. This means that it usually takes weeks to get a Third-party board printer to help you turn your ideas into reality. The Voltera team wants to help you shorten the waiting time and completely eliminate the middleman, which is going to sell the circuit board printer directly to the hardware developer.

Instead of waiting for weeks, using silver conductive ink, a circuit board can be printed in just a few hours. The user needs to do is to design the circuit board as needed, and then print it out. The printer even supports multi-layer surfaces. Voltera even has a 550-watt reflow point, so you don't have to weld anything manually.

The Voltera printer will be available in early 2015 for a price of USD 1499.

4, FCX

The air pollution in China is very serious now. The FCX team is not going to start with air management, but the wearable equipment developed by the FCX team can serve people who care about their health, allowing them to breathe air more easily.

FCX wearable equipment can be hung on your bag to monitor particulate matter in the air at any time. It can also detect air quality, humidity and temperature. Supporting applications not only to warn you when the ambient air is full of smoke, but also to connect with a map of the public purse to provide you with ambient air quality information.

FCX can provide the information it collects to local governments and help government departments to study air governance solutions. The FCX team promises that local government data provided by it will not contain personally sensitive information. But to get a complete map, a region as large as San Francisco would require 1000 users to provide information.

FCX will be released in China next May.
