Today, Auburn University, YouTube's official channel, released a video of an event held in New York in Tuesday, in which Tim Cook delivered his speech as a winner of the school's Lifetime Achievement award. Tim Cook received a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Auburn University in 1982. In this 13-minute speech, Tim Cook mentions two great men who have influenced him: Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy. In his speech, Cook also mentions Nelson Mandela, who is currently commemorating Apple's official website. In his speech, Tim Cook highlighted the advocacy of the Anti-Employment Discrimination Act, advocating that the federal legislature legislate to prohibit any company from discriminating between employees because of their sexual orientation or gender.
