Tizen added 37 partners next week's developer conference

 On May 28, 2014, Tizen Association announced the addition of 37 partner project members, with its strong support and expertise to jointly promote the development of the Tizen operating system. Since its inception in November 2013, the Tizen Partner Program has more than doubled from the initial 36 to 88 currently. 
 Tizen is an open source project managed by the Linux Foundation. The project's goal is to create and support cross-architecture, open source software platforms that support a wide range of devices including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, appliances, netbooks and in-car infotainment systems. The Tizen Association is an industry consortium of operators, device manufacturers and their suppliers, independent software developers, and mobile application developers. 
 A number of new members, including Fleksy and Left Lane Network, will attend and present at the Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco from June 2nd to 4th, 2014. The conference, comprised of 60 sessions in five sections, will discuss a series of topics including the development of Tizen system wearables, the Internet of Things, consumer electronics, automotive and general-purpose applications and platforms. Many of these sessions will be hosted by the Tizen Association partner companies to ensure that the content of the conference is presented to the latest achievements of developers who are driving the progress and development of the Tizen ecosystem.
