Cloud computing can be divided into many different levels and different types, cloud computing is some people say that the distributed computing, some people say that grid computing is also a kind of cloud computing, even some people say Peer-to-peer is also a cloud. One of the most important aspects of cloud computing is virtualization, why does virtualization make many people feel interested? As we have heard recently, it is often said that energy saving and emission reduction, reducing the use of electricity and reducing the misuse of resources. From the perspective of IT investment, can reduce spending, reduce the use of electricity, reduce equipment input, this is the IT leadership and administrators are more interested in the matter. Trend technology has access to many customers and businesses, and the greatest value that cloud computing and virtualization can offer is that it can quickly get more IT resources when there is more business to be needed. Like our company all day long in the market activity, the market activity is quite big, we need to prepare more outside server. Traditional it to prepare more equipment, usually through procurement, there is a procurement process, there must be a complete plan to deploy these new servers, the whole process is very slow, very long, a little more than a few months, a little bit faster for at least a few weeks. Trend technology started using cloud computing a few years ago to meet some of the business needs. In addition, cloud computing brings enterprises a great advantage, that is, enterprises do not need to do a lot of upfront investment, enterprises can pay their real need to use some resources. And because cloud computing gives customers a lot of value, the global cloud computing use is growing fast. One reason many companies today do not adopt cloud computing is important it is because they are concerned about the security of cloud computing, and now you see a survey by IDC last year, and from the results of this survey, more than 87% of people interviewed say that security is their biggest concern about cloud computing. I recently had the opportunity to visit a number of customers in different industries at home, it contains some of the world's most high-profile banks, as well as insurance companies, and several security chiefs have told me that they are actually keeping a relatively conservative attitude towards cloud computing, and that their companies have invested some resources in studying cloud computing and virtualization, And do some planning for the future. But because of security and operational robustness, they are not migrating any important or critical applications to virtual environments, and they are using traditional environments to run these critical applications. Some future customers may consider building their own private cloud, and many customers have no plans to adopt a public cloud in the future because of security concerns. But often these customers may be more conservative in their thinking, but it is understandable that these customers will not use cloud computing for fear of security.
