Beijing Time May 14 news, according to Computerworld website reported that Twitter has acquired large data analysis company Lucky Sort. The deal will give Twitter a deeper insight into the content of its users ' tweets and how best to place ads on their websites. Twitter did not disclose the terms of the deal.
Noah Pepper, chief executive of Lucky Sort, said in a Monday article on the company's website that the company's technology was designed to make it easier to analyze, generalize, and visualize large sets of files by creating excellent and user-friendly text analysis tools.
Twitter doesn't say how it plans to use the technology. But the tools that help it analyze what users say on their site are clearly useful for Twitter.
Pepor suggests that Lucky sort will no longer be available as a product, at least not in the current way. "We will help current users transition from our systems to other systems in the coming months," he said. In this way, we can focus on our future work on Twitter. ”
Pepor says some of Lucky's employees in Oregon State Portland will relocate to Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco and join Twitter's "revenue Engineering" department.
Twitter and lucky sort are reluctant to comment further on the deal.
