(After testing, it is recommended to use Vnc4server for remote convenience, but also a successful example.) )

Ssh-l User Host
sudo apt install vino

Exit

SSH-XC User@host
Vino-preferences

The above 2 command will upload the remote Server Vino Properties window to the local computer, which can be well configured to allow remote access through VNC.

Tip: Using the SSH-XC command, Remote Desktop Windows can be invoked to the local desktop for operation. Note that the XC is capitalized, which is advantageous to the link search network, if uses the XC, then because the network speed question often prompts the error.
For example, generally we do remote server operation, with VI more trouble, and there is no gedit so intuitive, then we can also use Gedit edit remote files.

First SSH-XC User@host

Gedit file
sudo gedit file

The remote file is then invoked to the local computer for editing with Gedit.

This example is important for managing remote servers and should be proficient and familiar with the relevant features.

Install Vnc4server

sudo apt install vnc4server

Generate a VNC login password:

vnc4passwd

#这个command会提示你输入密码, this is the password you want to enter when you VNC the remote server.
To start the service:

Vnc4server

Gets: The name of the desktop, which is used when the client connects. If it is desktop:1, fill it out when the client connects: ip:5901, and so on, if it is http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/16493.html ">desktop 2, in the client's time to fill in: ip:5902 ...

The first run prompts you to generate a. vnc/xstartup file where the bread is configured with a login to start X.

Special attention:

Now log in from UltraVNC, and you may get a simpler window because the Vnc4server default boot WM is TWM, and if you want to start GNOME, you need to change it. Vnc/xstartup, we put the TWM & notes out, With Gnome-session:

Reference:
#!/bin/sh

# Uncomment the following nonblank lines for normal desktop:
# unset Session_manager
# EXEC/ETC/X11/XINIT/XINITRC

[-x/etc/vnc/xstartup] && Exec/etc/vnc/xstartup
[-R $HOME/. Xresources] && Xrdb $HOME/. Xresources
Xsetroot-solid Grey
Vncconfig-iconic &
Xterm-geometry 80x24+10+10-ls-title "$VNCDESKTOP Desktop" &
#twm &
Gnome-session &

Tip: Every time you restart the machine, Vnc4server service is closed, to re-enable a vnc4server to remote, start running is generally 5901 we use Remote Desktop reviewer for vnc
