General shortcut Keys

Alt + F1 Similar to Windows Win button, open the Application menu in GNOME (applications)

Alt + F2 similar to Windows Win + R key, run application in Gnome

Ctrl + Alt + D similar to the win + D key combination under Windows, display desktop

Ctrl + Alt + L is similar to the win + L key combination under Windows to lock the desktop, except to start the screen saver at the same time

Ctrl + Alt +→/← Switch between different workstations

Ctrl + Alt + Shift +→/← move the current window to a different workbench
