The U.S. Commerce Department 25th announced a final ruling on the imposition of 69.58% to 95.4% anti-dumping duties and 109.11% countervailing duties on potash phosphate imported from China. Potassium phosphate is mainly used in industrial and cleaning products, fertilizers and food additives. The U.S. Department of Commerce, in October last year on the case for the investigation of the product, its data show that from 2007 to 2009, the United States every year from China's imports of potassium phosphate increased by one times, the amount of $11.6 million trillion. Under the U.S. trade remedy procedure, the U.S. International Trade Commission will make its final decision in July this year. If the U.S. International Trade Commission also makes a positive ruling, Mofcom will eventually issue anti-dumping and countervailing orders. (Liu Lina Liu Hong)
