Sina Science and technology news Beijing time November 17 morning, the Kickstarter website on the latest project twice used plans to scrap the iphone into a clock, coaster, photo frame, and even coffee table. Project author Chris Cornat (Chris Koerner) 's company is currently engaged in iphone repair. Cornat said at Kickstarter that his company found that many of the iphones that could not be repaired were directly discarded. This brings a huge business opportunity: turning these iphones into useful products. Cornat has shown some of the products made using the discarded iphone on Kickstarter, but has not offered prices. This is an interesting idea. If someone uses such a coffee table at home, it will undoubtedly be a conversation in a family gathering. However, the twice used project also faces a challenge: there must be enough discarded iphone supplies to keep making these goods. Cornat says his company currently has 20,000 abandoned iphones, while twice used's coffee table will only be made with 100 discarded iphones. Other items, such as clocks, require 12 discarded iphone panels. Cornat said the project could work with more iphone repair shops in the future. (Zhang Fan)
