US mobile operator turns to data charge: Phone message is free

Analysts believe this is a major innovation in the face of the T Mobile Internet challenge.

The minimum monthly fee of the package is 50 USD, which can enjoy 500MB high speed data (exceeding the speed limit), unlimited voice call and unlimited SMS. With an additional 20 dollars, you can enjoy unlimited data traffic. Users can also choose the rating package, the highest can be 110 dollars a month to obtain 12GB of hot data.

The new package suggests that T is moving away from the traditional subsidy model and is no longer using high mobile-phone subsidies to lure users into a two-year contract for data-charging. T's move was particularly bold as the rest of America's three biggest operators Verizon Wireless, At&t and Sprint.

The price of T is much lower than that of rivals, but it has a small network footprint and no LTE 4G network. However, the company will also launch its first LTE network in some U.S. cities later this month.
