Beijing time July 10 Evening news, according to foreign media reported in Friday, the New York State Attorney general's office said the state plans to tagged.com social networking site, because the site suspected of using deceptive e-mail to develop new users. In a press release from the office of Andrew Coumeux Andrew M. Cuomo, the New York State Attorney General, tagged sent 60 million e-mails to the public this April-June, asking them to browse for photos that did not exist on the site. These emails are disguised as the recipient's friends, thus constituting the spam behavior. The Cuomo office says that if people who receive emails want to see so-called photos, they must register as tagged users. The 5-Year-old tagged may illegally enter these new users ' e-mail newsletters and send them to more people without the consent of those users. The Cuomo office says tagged will be prosecuted for deceptive e-mail marketing and privacy violations. Tagged CEO Gregg Zeng (Greg Tseng) wrote on the company's blog that the company did not get their contacts without people's consent. But he says the company is aware of the confusion of the languages used to guide user registration. He says the registration campaign has brought some complaints. Before the Cuomo office contacted the company, tagged had immediately ceased the registration promotion. In a separate blog post, June 16, he wrote that the registration campaign had brought 3 million new users to the site, but also caused 2000 complaints. The complainant complains that he has not knowingly invited all the people in the email communication record to register tagged. The Cuomo office said it planned to prevent tagged from engaging in fraudulent practices and fined them. Some social networking sites, including China, have often complained about the development of new users by sending deceptive emails in the early stages of promotion, but there have not been any individuals or organizations in the country to prosecute such spam.
