Use Flightradar24 to see if your flight will pass the war zone.

Not long ago, there was a tragedy of the MH17 crash in Ukraine. The flight was flown through a war zone and was probably shot down by the armed forces.

What do I do by plane?

Let's talk about the flight route: before each flight, the airline will make a number of plans for the route, and (mainly) make a final choice based on weather and wind forecasts. From a corporate profit perspective, airlines always prefer the most economic routes, even if they need to fly through bad weather areas. Security elements have also been taken into account, but it is clear that the cruise has not weighed the risks of the war zone.

Since airlines don't care so much, let's help themselves. I am here to introduce an application called FLIGHTRADAR24 (the official website supports the same function):

FLIGHTRADAR24 will collect data and information from the Air Control agency, which is fairly reliable and is adopted by the airlines and commercial flight service providers. In addition, it can even use the aircraft's own automatic location broadcast in certain circumstances. On the Flightradar24, you can just type in the flight number to see the full path and past flight history of the most recent flight.

This way, you will be able to track the flight path through the flight and avoid those flights through the war zone.
