By September, Materia had already appeared on Arduino's Facebook page and would be displayed on October 3 at the Rome Creation Carnival (Maker faire).

Arduino is an open hardware platform, born in 2005, designed to help those with little technical background to complete product development, is now the world's most popular open source hardware platform. And Sharebot is Italy's largest desktop 3D printer provider.

Materia 101 is a high-precision 3D printer whose target market is design, education and consumption, which will be sold in both the machine and the Assembly suite, and the package version will be 600 euros/800 USD, while the assembly unit price is less than 700 euros/1000 dollars.
