US Eastern Time February 4 8:00 (Beijing time February 4 21:00) News, UT Starkon (NASDAQ:UTSI) and technical Services Telent Marvell Service (hereinafter referred to as "telent") announced today that The two sides reached a strategic sales and service agreement on the operation of the UT mswitch softswitch system in the UK market. According to the agreement, UT's mswitch NGN products will be combined with Telent's technology services solutions to become a new Next Generation network (NGN) solution designed to address the need for UK operators to update existing networks and provide multimedia services with better future deployments than packet-access technologies. Based on the success of the next Generation network solution in Europe and Asia Pacific, this strategic agreement will enable UT to expand its global mswitch solution coverage and influence to the UK and Ireland markets. Telent will combine its expertise in specific market areas such as telecommunications with UT advanced Mswitch NGN products to create solutions that provide value for customer investment. (Tangfeng)
