UT NewNet sells its assets to the communications technology company

U.S. Eastern Time May 25 16:05 (Beijing time May 26 4:05) News, UT Starkon (NASDAQ:UTSI) announced today that the company will be its IP HTC and US PDSN assets sold to communications technology company NewNet Communication Technologies (hereinafter referred to as "NewNet"). According to the terms of the agreement, NewNet will also become the UT core IP portfolio in the North American and Latin American market dealers, but UT is not released the details of the terms of the agreement. The deal is expected to be completed by June 2010. NewNet will continue to provide service and localization support to UT's existing customers. As part of the deal, NewNet will hire staff from UT to make the transition smoothly after the deal is completed. (Tangfeng)
