• Third-quarter revenue of $1.52 billion, up 18% from a year earlier.
• Operating profit for the third quarter was $242 million, down 16% from a year earlier. Operating profit in the third quarter, according to non-US general Accounting Standards (NON-GAAP), was $460 million, up 5% from a year earlier.
• Third-quarter net profit of 194 million U.S. dollars, diluted after a share of profit of 0.45 U.S. dollars, the same period last year, respectively, 261 million U.S. dollars and 0.60 U.S. dollars, down 26%. NON-GAAP's net profit for the third quarter was $377 million trillion, with a profit of $0.87 per share after the same period last year, at 363 million U.S. dollars and 0.84 U.S. dollars, up 3% year-on-year.
• As of September 30, 2014, cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments amounted to USD 7.09 billion and received a revenue of USD 4.37 billion. (Lu Xin)
