Volkswagen's April delivery fell 4.7%

Beijing time Monday Evening News, the German carmaker Volkswagen Group announced that April car deliveries fell 4.7%, from the same period last year 568,100 vehicles to 541,600 vehicles.  The company said the global auto market was down about 20% per cent over the same period.  VW said its core mass brands had increased deliveries by 1.3% to 339,500 units a month.  The group's total deliveries in Germany increased by 19.9% to 118,200 in the current month, fuelled by the German government's continued push for a new car-buying incentive policy. The Chinese market also showed signs of recovery, with deliveries increasing by 21.1% to 121,300 vehicles, the public said.
